Select CITYWALK is the brainchild of three passionate young and motivated
individuals, Mr. Yograj Arora, Mrs. Neeraj Ghei & Mr. Arjun Sharma, who in
early 2000s envisioned the creation of a world class destination Shopping Centre
in India.
In the year 2003, they successfully made a bid at a DDA Auction for this plot measuring
15884 sq. meters with a landscaped plaza of 8992 sq. meters. The Foundation Stone
of the Complex was laid on December 2, 2004 by Mr. Inder Sharma, the
Chairman of Select Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. (SIPL). This team worked very hard to
realize their dream project within three years. Select CITYWALK was officially inaugurated
on 12th of October, 2007 by the Lt. Governor of Delhi, H.E. Mr. Tejinder Khanna.
Since its inception in October 2007, Select CITYWALK has been adjudged as the “Most Admired Shopping Centre of India” by independent organisations. We have won this Award for five consecutive years - 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Thanks to our patrons.
Mr. Inder Sharma, former owner and Chairman of SITA World Travel is the Chairman
of Select Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. The Sharma family is
represented by Mrs. Neeraj Ghei, a Chartered Accountant
by profession
and Mr. Arjun Sharma, Chairman, Le Passage to India, India’s leading Inbound Tour
Operators. Mrs. Ghei is Director in-charge for Finance, Legal and Leasing. Mr. Arjun
Sharma is the Director in charge of Marketing, Leasing, Brand Selection and creating
the right mix. The Sharma family is the 70% stakeholders of Select Infrastructure
Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Yograj Arora, Chairman, Aarone Group, is Director in-charge of the operational
aspects of Select CITYWALK and was instrumental in quality & timely construction
of Select CITYWALK. He is a renowned Chartered Accountant of Delhi. He has been
associated with real estate valuation and taxation for over three decades. Representing
additionally the Arora family on the Board is Mr. Homender Arora, younger
brother of Mr. Yograj Arora. The Arora family has 30% stake holding in SIPL through
the Aarone Group Companies.
Also on the Board is noted Chartered Accountant, Mr. P.R. Khanna, formerly
partner “Khanna & Annadhanam”, a leading firm of Chartered Accountants of Delhi.
He is the former Director of State Bank of India and various other prominent financial
institutions. He is currently also an independent Director on the Boards of UTI
Asset Management Limited and DCM Shriram Ltd.
Select CITYWALK is a 1.3 million sq. ft air-conditioned, vibrant and upscale destination
Shopping Centre. This is a part of an overall complex of 54 acres that comprises
of three floors of office space; India’s first six screen two Gold Class and four
premier class PVR complex, and approx 1 lakh sq. ft of Serviced Apartments.
Select CITYWALK also has an outdoor open air plaza SAANSKRITI, approx 1 lakh
sq. ft. of outdoor landscaped area with rich plants, trees, water bodies, amphitheatre
and specialised lighting giving Delhi a rich urban outdoor space comparable to the
best in the world. Several countries such as Thailand, Hongkong, France, Egypt,
Turkey, Korea, Republic of Cyprus, Great Britain, Brazil, Austria, Mauritius etc.
have projected and presented cultural programmes and promoted their destinations
at Saanskriti. Hong Kong Disneyland has twice brought their Mickey Mouse to the
centre for the children of Delhi. Famous artists like Anoushka Shankar, Kamal Sabri,
Rondo Vienna, Rekha Surya and many more have performed at the Amphitheatre of Select
CITYWALK. Every year, a Yoga Shivir is held at the grounds of CITYWALK, where few
hundred people learn Yoga from H.H. Yogiraj Dr. Om Prakash Ji Maharaj.
Spread over six acres in the heart of posh south Delhi, Saket, Select CITYWALK is
a major tourist attraction for both international and domestic tourists. Prestigious
brands such as, Lamborghini, BMW, Samsung, Nokia, Ford, Sony, Zoom TV, HP, Intel
etc. have launched their new products either at the Open Air Plaza, Saanskriti or
at the air-conditioned Atrium within the shopping centre.
We are a socially responsible organisation. Our Corporate Social Responsibility
has also attracted the Bands of Indian Army ,Indian Navy, the Delhi Police and voluntary
organisations such as WWF, Navjyoti, KHOJ, Multiple Sclerosis Society of India,
People for Animals, Core Cancer Foundation, CHINTAN etc. who have all utilised CITYWALK
for propagating and promoting their cause. Select CITYWALK is a holistic, living
experience always conscious of its social responsibility.
To facilitate the visitors, the 3 levels of parking can easily accommodate over
1200 cars, we have about 40 elevators / escalators to facilitate the movement of
visitors. We also provide facilities for wheel chairs for the physically challenged
and prams for children.
For the safety of our visitors, Select CITYWALK is under electronic surveillance
round the clock and has even hired women parking marshals to make the women customers
more comfortable in the basements. The Shopping Centre maintains high standards
of hygiene in its common areas & offers a host of services to enhance the customer
experience. The pleasant temperature control inside the centre with Delhi’s extreme
climate is greatly welcomed by all its visitors.
Carefully orchestrated to suit the needs of sophisticated urban Indian, Select CITYWALK
creates an eclectic combination of luxury and high street shopping, with a bewildering
brand-mix, together with destination cafes, bistros, restaurants and bars, which
together make the place addictive! Over 175 key stores representing over 500 Indian
and international brands have been carefully cherry picked and showcased here, to

with contradictions, a blend of tradition and modernity; for the Indian who embraces
the future with elan and values his roots respectfully. Select CITYWALK houses International

which includes facilities such as Personal training by world class trainers, with
