It’s Great to be Eight

It’s not every day that Delhi’s favourite shopping destination celebrates its 8th birthday! That’s the reason we left no stone unturned in making our birthday celebrations the grandest ever this year with a birthday party that spanned over a week!

Usually birthdays are all about getting pampered and getting gifts, but we did it a little differently with our ‘Celebrating You’ campaign. We made sure that shoppers and guests of every age group got privileges, perks and freebies like never before. Birthdays are never complete without cake and we ensured that we kept with the tradition by showcasing a giant birthday cake in the central atrium. We also took the tradition a step further by having a photo booth in the cake for guests to capture their special moments

The shopping frenzy hit Select CITYWALK hard with the Shop to Win campaign (Don’t worry, it’s returning for Christmas) that we launched simultaneously.  Shoppers were rewarded and how with over INR 30 lacs worth gift vouchers that were won, daily lucky draws and a birthday themed tote bags for all our shoppers. Needless to say the shopping heaven became a little more heavenly over these 9 days!

Other highlights included drones dropping candy and other goodies to treat our little guests to something that excites them to no end. That’s not all we had in store for them, the 8th Birthday saw an extravagant cinematic and theatrical show featuring Bumblebee, Optimus Prime & Megatron. The Transformers Cosplay Mania took Select CITYWALK by storm with something exciting for the entire family to enjoy together.

It was a double whammy for those who shared their birthday with us! Guests could show their date of birth proof and collect a special gift from the concierge! In addition to all this, the brands at CITYWALK conveyed their hearty birthday wishes in a fun and cute manner! All in all, this one week was filled with excitement and bustle like you can’t imagine and it gave everyone a chance to celebrate their birthday twice in a year (Celebrating You)!
