That’s exactly what happened when International apparel brand, GAP India and Select CITYWALK decided to freeze for the very popular Mannequin Challenge.
What is the Mannequin Challenge?
The Mannequin Challenge is a new online trend that gets people to upload videos of them looking as though they’ve been frozen in time.
Social media users across the globe have been sharing their footage with the hashtag #MannequinChallenge that has set social media ablaze.
How WE did it!
We are sure everyone’s watched a universe of great videos from the challenge! We decided to bring something more interesting to the table by performing the Mannequin Challenge with real mannequins at the store.
We invited shoppers at Select CITYWALK to walk into the store, briefed them about the fun activity and gave them a chance to be featured in Select CITYWALK’s ‘Mannequin Challenge’ video, featuring our favorite patisserie, The Artful Baker and the one and only Gap India.
Great excitement, high levels of energy and a fun spirit surrounded the store as all the participants discussed and practiced positions they would want to freeze in.
And, to your surprise, we got it right in the first round of shoot itself. All the participants clearly had a lot of fun and expressed immense excitement to have been featured in this cool video.
